iHeartRadio app is America’s favorite source of radio stations for BlackBerry smart phones. The stations include KFAN, KFI AM, KIIS FM, and Z100. From this application, you can bookmark your favorite radio station, get lyrics of your favorite songs, and view album arts. The application includes radio programming by the LGBT community and the critically acclaimed Pride Radio and genre-defying eRockster. For superior listening experience, the application is streamed with its own high quality AAC format.


User Interaction:

As a new streaming radio application, iHeartRadio is built in with cool features for the users. One of these features is the GPS function. The GPS function allows users to locate their favorite radio stations locally through their BlackBerry smart phones. Another great feature of this app is that it incorporates song lyrics

through GraceNote function. GraceNote function has a great looking UI.

 

User Interface:

The iHeartRadio app has a very promising appearance. Apparently, compared to Lastfm and Pandora, the iHeartRadio application streams a more traditional and commercialized local FM stations such as the New York’s Z100. This is definitely a charm to all BlackBerry users since it ensures user friendliness. The buffering and loading of music in iHeartRadio application is very fast even if you are just connected in your local WiFi.

The iHeartRadio application itself if very simple and very easy to use. Its sound quality was very acceptable as well. However, the application can only store for up 12 stations only, which is very limited. iHeartRadio application is a good option for those who prefer commercial radio.

The iHeartRadio application is currently supported in BlackBerry Bold, Curve, and Storm. It is free for download anytime from the any websites that support BlackBerry applications. Despite its limited number of stations, the application can stream more than 750 online stations via WiFi networks or cellular data

networks.


Everything about the iHeartRadio application is tremendously straightforward. You just have to choose a station from it and immediately it starts playing. Most of the songs in this application are accompanied by web links where lyrics can be garnered and cover art albums as well. Aside from it, the song title, the

distributor, and the name of the artists are displayed as well while listening to the station.


Listening to iHeartRadio application is just similar to listening to an FM radio station where you get to hear some commercials and no skipping of songs are allowed. The radio upsides of the local flavor and DJs are

also present in the application.


With iHeartRadio application, users can randomize radio streams, tag songs, and bookmark their favorite

stations. All music in this application is broadcasted in high AAC quality.
