It used to be that if you wanted a mobile phone with extra features and internet access you had to settle for something bulky and unattractive. Well, the Apple iPhone changed all that with funky styling, slim design, and almost all the features you could want at the touch of a button on a pocket-sized handheld phone. Of course there are a few features that could still be improved, but this is understandable, after all, Apple need to leave themselves somewhere to go with development of this amazing gadget.
The iPhone apps market has increased the appeal of the phone because each customer can customise the phone to their exact requirements, with ready access to their favourite games, links to stores for purchasing their favourite items, or the ability to find out what that tune is that you just love but don’t know what it’s called. Once you’ve done that you can then easily watch a video, or purchase the mp3 download to play through your phone.
No doubt Apple will continue the development of more and more exciting Apps and features that we won’t know we can’t live without until we have them. They will need to keep one step ahead of rival companies who are set to enter the smart phone market in the next year, for example Google with their range of gPhones and Nokia’s Netbook phones. These phones will no doubt also be at the cutting edge of technology and will have their own range of apps for download which will help to keep pushing the boundaries of technological development.
