USB Audio Player High Quality Media Player Android App Review
When an Android phone or tablet is connected to a USB DAC, USB Audio Player PRO will use our proprietary USB audio driver to unleash the full power of the DAC. This fully bypasses the Android audio system, making the restrictions of Android’s bit resolution and sample rate (16-bit/48kHz) irrelevant, and high-quality audio streams are sent straight to the DAC, allowing playing up to 32-bit @ 384kHz. Media Player supporting USB audio DACs and HiRes audio chips
Any popular format, including wav, flac, wavpack, ape, mp3, and DSD files, will be played. This software is a must-have for any HiFi fan, as it bypasses all of Android’s audio limitations. However, even if we don’t have a USB DAC, the app supports many of the HiRes audio processors present in recent phones, allowing us to listen to music at a considerably higher quality than ordinary music players, even those that come with our phone. The master MQA file is completely authenticated, short enough to broadcast or download, and backwards compatible. Many music in MQA are available on the Tidal streaming service, which is supported by USB Audio Player PRO, and it’s a wonderful way to try out MQA. We can also play DSD (.dsf/.dff) files natively if we have a DAC capable of DSD (Direct Stream Digital), delivering a 1-bit digital stream (over PCM utilising the DoP protocol) similar to the Super Audio CD of the past. This format is rapidly gaining popularity among audiophiles, outperforming PCM audio streams in terms of quality. If our DAC does not handle DSD natively, USB Audio Player PRO will convert the DSD stream to PCM.
Play from anywhere
Internal storage, SD cards and USB drives, a Samba network drive, UPnP servers, as well as numerous streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Google Music, and Shoutcast radio may all be played using USB Audio Player PRO.
