Features

Photivo for iPhone combines both, beautiful presentation and rich set of features. It has all major photo editor features that you expect from a similar app. Unlike some other apps that focus on specific set of features – such as the ones that focuses on filters or tilt photography – Photivo app for iPhone provides all the commonly used applications under one roof. In fact, this is Photivo’s biggest advantage. The user friendliness of Photivo app’s UI is commendable. The UI is easy and quick to use with no feature being more than couple of taps away. Filters are well presented with the icon of each filter showing a preview of its impact on each photo you’re manipulating. This feature removes the otherwise trial and error approach required to try out some of the filters.

It is a bit perplexing why the app did not provide an option to share photos through email or text message. From a technical perspective, it was just about calling said features from within the app. Also, Photivo for iPhone does not permit editing in landscape mode. Performance wise, the app is pretty stable and responsive for most parts. Photivo is compatible with iOS 6.0 or higher.

Final Thoughts

Photivo app for iPhone is an excellent photo editing apps. It provides a bouquet of features that you might need to edit your photos. The UI is well designed and easy to use. The ability to preview the effect of each filter before you actually apply it on the photo is the standout feature. Sharing options however is limited to Facebook and Twitter.
