Getting Started With The BlackBerry App World

So now you’ve bought your new BlackBerry, the latest in the smart phone revolution, you want to start getting in to your applications and all the new, cool things you can download on to your phone.  For those with the latest BlackBerry software you will notice an apps icon on your screen, which is how you connect to all the applications that you can access.

If you click this link you will get access to the world of apps and then you just navigate around to choose the one you want to download.  The icons you can browse through are Categories, Top Downloads, Search and My World, and all of these are updated every time you access the downloads.

If you’re not sure what you’re looking for why not start in Top Downloads and see what is most popular and the types of things that other people are downloading.  Chances are there must be something good about the applications in here because that’s why they are in the top section.

A lot of the time the apps in here are free, another reason they are the most popular.  If you’re looking for a particular app then go to Search or Categories, depending on which route you think will be quicker for you.  You’ll soon get the hang of whatever way of finding apps works best for you and you’ll be flying around the options in no time.

All you need to do when you’ve found the apps you want is click download, pay for it using your PayPal account if it’s not free, and then you’ll find it stored in your My World area.  All apps are tested and screened to ensure they work effectively and are virus free.  So get out there and enjoy the world of BlackBerry apps!
