In terms of visuals, Roofbot for iPhone is well served. The isometric perspective graphics is gorgeous. The opening scene that explains the premises of the game is beautifully animated. The angle perspective makes it easy to see everything happening on the screen. It also gives a nice layer of depth. The color in the game is bright and vivid, while the light particles effects are eye-catchy. Fine details in the background in each stage are impressive. The animations are slick and fluid. The bubbly sound effects are a delight to listen to as well. The game is level based wherein you got to clear a level to advance to the next. As of today, the game has five chapters with 20 levels each. The puzzles get more complex and intricate as you progress.


The objective in each puzzle is to reach the glowing portal tile at the end. But this tile can only be lowered by getting the energy objects into their proper slots. While it might sound easy, playing the game is more complicated than that as the architecture of the roof changes as you move along it and more energy shapes are introduced, not to mention the new game mechanics that is thrown into the mix. The bottom-line is that each move you will make you gets either to the portal or have you trapped on the roof. So you got to be calculative before putting your foot forward. The controls are intuitive. Simply swipe your finger in the direction in which you want the robot to move. You can do so anywhere on the screen, making it easy for one-hand play. As the game has no time or scoring restriction, you can play it at your own pace and convenience. Should you stuck somewhere, you can use the hints to find a way out.
